<h2>About the DDS Community Library</h2>
<p>The Dell Design System (DDS) Community Library is a Dell community co-creation space built for giving designers across Dell the ability to readily <strong>contribute</strong> component designs, with the intention of adding them to the DDS UI Kit. </p>
<p>Dell teams may also <strong>borrow</strong> a contributed component design that meets their use case. </p>
<p>Keep in mind that these designs may not have been approved by the Accessibility Center of Excellence, so we encourage designers to run their own accessibility reviews. </p>
<p>Also, contributed designs may not have been audited by DDS designers for consistency with DDS component or Dell Brand guidelines. </p>
<p>Designers should imply that they are taking full responsibility for the design and use of any contributed component. </p>

<h3>Contribute</h3>
<p>Contributors are designers who have created a component or feature, outside of DDS, to be shared with other designers or teams.  <br><br>To contribute a component design, visit the <a href="https://www.figma.com/design/uFlXa0sRIr56e8LEGYgw0M/DDS-Contributor-Sandbox?node-id=0-1&p=f&t=2YnpolBuQUnXtT9D-0">DDS Community Library</a> in Figma. </p>
<h3>Borrow</h3>
<p>Borrowers are  DDS customers who need a component not yet documented in the UI Kit, and are looking to see if it exists in the sandbox. </p>

<h3>Access</h3>
<p>All Dell employees and contractors with Figma access can use the Community Library. If you need access to Figma, visit <a href="/getting-started/figma">Getting Started with Figma</a> .</p>
